Underground River Adventure
Much has been written and said about this World Heritage site in Puerto Princesa. Yet, nothing is more satiable to quench the thirst of enjoying its beauty and splendor unless one explores this enchanting place.
It is believed to be one of the longest navigable underground rivers in the world which features cathedral-like caverns and domes. The stalactites and stalagmites formation resembles like religious images, fruits and birds. Truly, an admirable underworld that project the omnipotence of the Creator over human hands. The Underground River is home to other cove dwelling fauna.
The park was declared a premier ecotourism destination and has been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage lists for its outstanding universal value and ecological significance as a natural site of intense beauty.

Snorkeling/Island Hopping
Honda Bay provides visitors to Puerto Princesa City a chance to view nature without having a plan for a long trip. One might plan for day's island hopping, swimming and snorkeling or even just an afternoon picnic on a deserted sandbar all your own. 

The islands in Honda Bay gives the beach lovers a much sought-after uncrowded and unspoilt haven that one can never find anywhere else in the Philippines. One of these Puerto Princesa beaches is Nagtabon Beach, which is located in the western coast of Palawan and is a two-hour ride from the city proper.


Firefly Watching
A breathtaking trip  around Puerto Princesa Bay at sundown. Watch the sun descend along the horizon. When the night falls, enjoy the magical experience of watching the fireflies illuminate the mangroves.


Iwahig Firefly Watching is an ecotourism project between ABS-CBN Foundation and the city government of Puerto Princesa under Mayor Edward Hagedorn.  It started October 2008 wherein ABS-CBN gave initial funding.  The Puerto Princesa community will then continue on with the project and sustain it.
The goal is conserve the natural resources of the city and provide the community opportunities.  At the same time, it offers tourists a unique experience of the wonderful Iwahig river.


City Tour - Attractions such as Palawan Museum, Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm and Palawan Wildlife Rescue and conservation Center - all accessible in a day trip, capped off by a night out at any of Puerto Princesa's many interesting dining and entertainment places. The town itself has a rich culture derived from indigenous traditions and the added influence of immigrants coming from other parts of the Philippines and other countries.

This tour includes the following destinations: Crocodile Farming Institute, Butterfly Garden, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Mitra’s Ranch, Bakers Hill, Souvenir Shop and Market, Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, Palawan Museum, Vietnamese Village, and Plaza Cuartel.

Dolphin Watching


See long-snouted spinner dolphins! These warm-blooded and air-breathing mammals known as "lumba-lumba" are very acrobatic animals with a triangular dorsal fin. Its color is dark gray on the sides and white on the belly. Chances of seeing a dolphin are best when the seas are flat. Agitated seas, high winds and execessive glare make it more difficult to see them.
